Boone County Booking Records Office
For records that are not available online, the Boone County Sheriff's Office is at 1905 Indianapolis Ave., Lebanon, IN 46052. The Records Division is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. You can also send an email to sheriff@boonecounty.in.gov or submit a request through the online form on the Boone County Sheriff's website. Mail requests go to the address above. The APRA officer is in the Records Division and handles all formal public records requests for Boone County booking reports. Under IC 5-14-3-9, the office must respond within seven days.

Boone County Records Fees
Looking at booking reports in person costs nothing. Copies do have fees. In Boone County, incident reports are $5 each. Accident reports also cost $5. Local background checks are $10. Certified copies run $2 per page.
State law caps standard copy fees at $0.10 per page under IC 5-14-3-8. Color copies max at $0.25. The fee covers paper and machine use only. Boone County cannot add labor or overhead charges when making copies of booking reports. If you need a large number of copies, the cost adds up, but the per-page rate stays the same.
Your Rights to Boone County Arrest Records
Indiana's Access to Public Records Act at IC 5-14-3-3 gives you the right to look at and copy booking reports from Boone County during normal business hours. No reason is required. There are narrow exceptions. Active investigation files can be held back per IC 5-14-3-4. Juvenile records are not public. But standard adult booking reports in Boone County are open records. Period.
